Element Biosciences enables agentic tooling to support your analysis. The Developer Hub documents foundational tooling for both developers and their agents. This Agent Hub provides specialized tooling intended for use by agents in AI apps such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, and others.

Agent Hub tooling works in your AI app, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or Cursor. The agent in your AI app, for example Claude, does the analysis work: it reads your data, runs analysis code, and returns results to you in the chat.

Multiomics skills guide an agent on how to access, load, and analyze your ElemBio™ data.
- Analyze AVITI24™ Cytos data with the AI app you already use.
- With an ElemBio Catalyst™ subscription, your agent can connect to a sandbox to automatically get access to these skills.
- The same skills also run on a laptop, an HPC, or your own cloud.
An ElemBio Cloud sandbox is a managed Python environment in ElemBio Cloud.
- It provides a suite of pre-installed software and flexible resourcing to enable your agent to access and analyze your ElemBio data directly.
- To run analyses in a sandbox, install the Sandbox MCP in your AI app. The Sandbox MCP is how your AI app connects its agents to a sandbox. Consult the installation instructions for the steps specific to each app.
What you can analyze
Your agent can run filtering, normalization, differential expression, and clustering on your Cytos data. Your agent can also visualize various modalities and populations of cells inline in the chat.

Element supports two agentic setups. Both use the same multiomics skills. The difference is where your agent runs the analysis.

Local analysis
On your own compute, the multiomics skills tell your agent how to analyze Cytos data. The agent still needs the multiomics Python package (elembio-spatialdata-analysis) installed in the Python environment where it runs code. Skills alone do not install that package.
- Install the multiomics skills in your AI app.
- Install the multiomics Python package in the environment your agent uses.
- Point the agent at a Spatial Data Object from Cells2Stats.
In a sandbox, the package is already pre-installed, so you only connect the Sandbox MCP.
